Less than a buck, more than a hug

Sometimes all it takes is a simple hello, to strike a smile onto a person’s face. Sometimes it's just the comfort of knowing that they're always there for you. Sometimes it's the simple things that make happiness in our lives. We don't always have to go far to get what we want or to stand out to get the attention we want. Sometimes it’s just there, maybe even as simple as a teddy bear, that can mean so much to a person, A gift for an anniversary, birthday, Christmas, or the best reason, maybe just because they want too. You don't always have to spend money to get that happiness. Sometimes it’s just feeling that closeness to a person.
A recent gift of a teddy bear really struck me. Not only do i snuggle with it every night, like a little girl i know, but that every time i look at it, i think of the wonderful person that gave it to me. Their sweet smile, their twinkling eyes, and the way they always laugh at my corny little jokes that sometimes just slip out. My heart skips a beat every time i hear their voice even in my dreams, and everyday i pray and hope that the next night while I’m snuggling with that adorable stuffed animal of mine, that maybe you'll appear in my dreams once more, to see your face again, right in between day and day break... <3
